We believe that music is very personal and emotional for the majority of our clients. Because of that, we offer the opportunity to customize the evening with personal music selections and instructions. We offer a variety or DJ music, ceremony music, and live music packages.

    • Equipment set up 1 hour prior to your guest arrival time (no extra charge)

    Adagio works exclusively with Ned Kantar Productions to bring you the very best in Live Music/DJ packages. Our Live Music package truly gives your guests the best overall presentation at an exceptional value. We work with live musicians to keep your guests entertained non-stop without any breaks in the momentum of your reception. Ned and his musicians have performed at over 5,000 events over the past 30 years.

    JAZZ COMBO/DJ PACKAGE (Fridays and weekdays, 6 hours of music):

     

    • Live Jazz Trio during cocktails and dinner + DJ for dancing: Starting at $1395
    • This is a $200 savings when purchased as a package.

    A Jazz Trio or Quartet consisting of piano or guitar, trumpet or sax, and bass (add a drummer for a Quartet) is the perfect choice for a tasteful musical backdrop for cocktails or dinner. We can also add additional instruments or vocals. Ned’s Jazz Combos play classic American songs written by Gershwin, Kern, Porter, and Ellington and popularized by Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nat King Cole.

    A String Trio or Quartet, consisting of one or two violins, viola, and cello, is an excellent traditional choice for wedding ceremony or elegant reception. Our ensembles perform the classic repertoire of Mozart, Haydn, Bach, Pachelbel, Handel, and Vivaldi in addition to popular selections if requested. Musicians in our quartets are among the top professionals in the Twin Cities, backing Broadway shows (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Evita, etc.) and performing with the Minnesota Opera. Prices start at $650.

    DJ Ceremony Package: $200-$300

     

    • Equipment set-up and sound checked prior to your guests arrival
    • Microphones for the person performing the ceremony as well as any readers, vocalists, and/or yourselves
    • Optional music prior to, during, and after the actual ceremony. We can assist you with popular choices or you can select your own.
    • We have an extensive library of backing tracks available for vocalists. If we do not have the music you are looking for we can assist you in finding it.
    • An experienced DJ who will run the sound during the ceremony and assist as needed. Amplification for live musicians is also available.
    • Off-site ceremony packages are available by request. Please contact us for an exact quote.

  • Price Matching Available-If you love what we are about but we are just a little out of your budget, please call us and depending on the date we may be able to work with you.

    • Projector / Screen Rentals

    Adagio is available for projector and large screen rentals for presentations and photo montages. All packages include delivery, set-up, pick-up, and DJ/technician to operate.

    Rental includes projector, projector screen, DVD/VCR player, or input for client provided laptop, and audio from our sound system. $245

    Projector alone rentals $150 per day.
